Collection: Ruger XR3-RED Grips

These grips are designed to fit the XR3-RED frame and are of the Plow Handle Style. (RED - Redesign of the XR3 frame)

Models included Blackhawk, New Blackhawk, short barrel Super Blackhawk, Old Army, Vaquero (NOT the New Vaquero), Single Six, New Single Six, and the Wrangler.  But, you must check your firearm because some of these models have changed over time.

Most Super Blackhawk, Bearcat, Bisley, and Birdshead models have different size and shape frames and will not fit these grips.

Ruger also produced the XRN-3RED frame in a “short” version. That grip frame is about 1/4” shorter than the standard XRN-3RED and was released on the Single-Six with Vaquero sights on the standard stainless frame. Again, these grips will not fit, check the measurements below.

There may also be some variations of the XR3-RED frame markings such as XRN-3RED, NXR3-RED, NRM-3RED, or KXR3. 

Stainless Steel vs Blued vs Anodized vs Painted/Cerakote frames may vary slightly.   Due to the coating on your frame, some fitting may be necessary. 

The XR3-RED frames are 1/2" inch thick, will have a ramp on the top corner, and are 3" inches tall, about 3/8" inch from the bottom pin to the bottom of the frame. The Wrangler grips are about 1/16" inch (2mm) taller but, the same grips fit.
