Custom Project Policy

Grip Types that we currently do not make:

Often we get requests to reproduce grips that we do not currently have developed.  You may even offer to send us your original grips as a template.  To recreate grips with only the originals is extremely difficult to get the best fit.  We really need the firearm in hand to properly fit the grips.  As part of our policy, we will not accept responsibility for your firearm.  In the cases that we can proceed with just original grips, there is usually added time and cost for sending test grips for fitting prior to producing the final grips.

Reverse engineering grips can take a lot of time and resources.  Sometimes months of design and development.  The rate is $100 a day for design and development.  We will try to estimate how long the project may take.  Often the cost will usually exceed the value of the gun.  

Alternatively, you can add your grip model and email to the List of Requested Grip for future consideration.  We work on these as time allows and requestors can often get the grips for free if they help in the testing.  There is no set schedule for items on the list.

Modification to existing Grip Type or profile:

This would be for things like accommodating an oversized safety, slide release, or magazine release.  Also, things like changing a checkering pattern or inserting a medallion.  Any cut changes, you must be able to supply exact measurements and dimensions.  The cost for modification will usually range from $40 - $80.
